Eric Elison, known as the Lightfoot of the Rockies, performs a tribute to the beloved Canadian Troubadour Gordon Lightfoot (11/17/38 - 5/1/23). Elison’s band is stacked with talented, first-rate musicians who have played with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Charley Pride, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
Elison is an independent Singer-Songwriter with a rich, vibrato-laced baritone reminiscent of Lightfoot in his prime. The show will include all of Gordon Lightfoot’s hits, including “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Sundown,” “Rainy Day People,” “Carefree Highway,” and so many others.
While flying aircraft for the Navy, Elison continued to pursue his musical career. In 2017, he released his own EP called Westside Cafe. But the Lightfoot sound kept pulling him back, and he embraced the resemblance, leading to the Lightfoot Tribute Tour beginning in 2019. Today, Elison travels the globe, bringing Lightfoot’s music everywhere he goes. If you love the music of Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley, this is the show for you!
