“Rosalie’s Magic Rocks”, by Ruben Muller, is a bilingual play set in 1967 in Martineztown in Albuquerque, NM. Young Rosalie’s life changes when she loses her mother and goes to live with her grandfather. Her family speaks Spanish and struggles with the English language. To help a fellow student at school, Rosalie gives him a magic rock to make him feel better. Soon, her new friends want the confidence and courage her rocks inspire!
