These Village trails are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds, offering moderate difficulty to accommodate a variety of skill levels. Whether you're an avid hiker, a mountain biker, or enjoy horseback riding, Moon Mountain's new trails have something for everyone.
Explore the Beauty of Moon Mountain
Moon Mountain, a 630-acre recreation area, is renowned for its stunning vistas, disc golf course, and abundant wildlife right in the heart of the Village. As you traverse the new trails, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, including turkeys, deer, and elk.
Trail Access and Tips
The easiest way to access these new trails is from the trailhead located at 685 Gavilan Canyon Road. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend the following:
Wear Comfortable Hiking Shoes: The trails are moderately difficult, so sturdy footwear is essential.
