Due to ongoing dry conditions, Ruidoso is under Level 2 Fire Restrictions to prevent wildfires and ensure the safety of our community and visitors. Your cooperation helps protect our environment for everyone.
Restrictions Include:
1. No charcoal briquettes or outdoor burning stoves on any public or private property.
2. UL/FM-approved gas grill shall be allowed.
3. No outside smoking on public or private property — except within an enclosed vehicle or building (unless in areas specifically permitted by the Fire Marshal).
4. Fireworks are restricted by state law.
5. No campfires.
