Hop into spring at Fort Stanton Historic Site for a fun-filled afternoon at the Fort Stanton Easter Bunny Hop on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This Easter egg hunt alternative welcomes children of all ages to explore the historic parade grounds while collecting goodies from community booths and service providers. Bring your Easter baskets to gather treats and prizes, and enjoy classic lawn games and a picnic with family and friends.

In addition to the Easter festivities, visitors can experience Living History at Fort Stanton:

• 10 AM – Flag Raising Ceremony

• 11 AM – Internment Camp Tour

• 1 PM – Special guest lecture, “Celestial Navigation and the Age of Discovery,” by Christopher Ardent, interpretive ranger at Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.

Admission:

• $7 for adults

• Free for children 16 and under, Native/Tribal Affiliations, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, and MNMF members.
